Kung Fu Panda 2 review

"Kung Fu Panda 2", when was a animation movie sequel better than the original? Shrek perhaps? Well "Kung Fu Panda 2" is one of the best animation movie sequels if you ask me. The story is strong and more epic than the first one, and it does also promise for a third pandastic installment. The film makers have made a choice to follow a bit more original pattern for the sequel. If this movie had followed the usual pattern, Po would have been bad at Kung Fu again, but no. They let him stay awesome. This time around the movie focuses on the story of Po. I hope it is no suprise that the duck was not his father? So we get to know the back story, very exciting stuff indeed! The movie also focuses on Po having to find inner peace. The movie is very funny, though I seem to have a problem with laughing in the cinema...
I can honestly say this: I can't wait for the third one and I am going to buy this movie on Blu-Ray for sure!! Go see it while you still can! I give it five different jams with a little bit of sith out of six.

My Big Want List of 3D goods!!

This is my big wishlist of 3D-stuff for 2011:
- First of all the TV itself, a Samsung 46" called the Samsung UE46D8005YUXXE
- Then the HDMI cable which supports 3D, AddOn HDMI-01HM-3M 1.4A
- To the 3DBD-player then, Samsung BD-D7000/XE
- To the choppa!...I mean, to the sound! Samsung HT-D5500
The 3DBD-player is actually uneccesary, so thereæs no point in buying it, since the the sound equipment comes with a 3DBD-player. But it's a nice thought though! :)

Movies to watch for preparation!

Since I've got tickets to see Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon IMAX 3D in the BFI IMAX cinema in London, and tickets to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in RealD 3D in Oslo the 13th of July, I will need to prepare. Now how do I do this?

First of all, I will need to watch all the Harry Potter movies again. I will watch them next week before I leave, one every day. I will also watch Transformers and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen again. This is going to be one hell of a, well, two-weeks.

I really want this camera

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Canon EOS 7D will be on my wishlist until I can afford* them.
* Well actually I can afford the 7D, but I do not want to buy it now, since, if I buy it that would make me broke... But maybe I will go fishing with my father this year, again, God I hate fishing! But it could make me like 20000 NOK or more... maybe also do some freelancing...?

Huge addiction of buying blu-rays? Dinner with meatballs & movie

I know that it's been a while since the last blow article here, but I've been quite busy, with school and something else, a manuscript. Unfortunately for the english readers out there the manuscropt is in Norwegian and the movie will be in Norwegian, but I will text it and probably sell it on DVD, once finished, sometime during summer. The film is intended as a feature-length (more than 40/60 minutes), it is a horror-slasher-paranormal type of scary movie, it is about a boy making a ghost documentary in the local schools cellar, suddenly a friend of him get's killed and he, along with his girlfriend must face this supernatural beast, or is it something else?
Here are the pictures of the dinner I made: https://picasaweb.google.com/113980216002874382254/DinnerWithMeatballs
Well to some other things, I have been posting a lot of videos lately, and if you have not seen them then here they are:

Review of: Bad Taste (An early Peter Jackson film)

This film was made with a zero budget, it was originally planned as a short film, but then our beloved "Lord of The Rings" director, Peter Jackson decided to make it a feature one. Thank God that he did. This film is filled with laughs and little ironies. It is also filled with fake guts, blood and a whole lot of brains! Though it surely does not defeat the other gore film he made, "Braindead" or "DeadAlive". Here is a short plot of the film:
Evil aliens seeking to sell human flesh for the fastfood industry on their planet, have killed a whole town. Now it is up to The Boys to stop them, they are New Zealands and the world's only hope. They must find out what's going on, release a kidnapped guy, who looks funny, and kill the aliens.
This film is hard to find nowadays, and for that I am proud to be the owner of a copy, plus that I own the documentary on how it was made. If you have not seen the unboxing yet, well then it is below, and if you want to know what I got in the mail the other day, well, then that is below too.
And here below these two, is a little horror short:

Coffee review: Coop Mørkbrent Continental

Aromas: soft, mildly-intense, fragments of nuts and chocolate...
First sip: mild, bitter, chocolate like almost, good aftertaste, good flavour all in all.
Second sip: still mild, a bit bitter like bitter chocolate, aftertaste is bitter like chocolate and hints of dishwasher soap...?!

Impression: Chocolate like, a wee bit bitter, mild, good flavour and a okay aftertaste, a bit soap like though, which may be due to the fact that it is pre-grinded! Nice soft body.

All in all: Reccomended as a coffee for lunch or before dinner, not very good as a starter of the day or to calm down after eating something too sweet, not bad at all. Plus it was UTZ Certified, read more on that here. A 4 out of 6 beans.

Many mistakes in Harry Potter

I of many, many many, people would say that the Harry Potter-series can match The Lord of The Rings, but surely LoTR is more complete and with no, of extremely few mistakes, that is where the Harry Potter books can't match up. In the Harry Potter-series there are many mistakes, though not to many really affecting the story, more like funny misfits, as page 103 in "Magical Creatures & What The Like To Eat" is about werevolves, but later it says page 233. But here is a big one though, and I'll make a video about it, that will be out next week!

The Common Room & Sleeping Rooms
There are many studenst in Gryffindor, and from the common room there are two doors, one for the girls sleeping room and one for the boys. According to J.K in the first book, Harry and Ron went through the door and up a windy staircase and then into a room with four beds, just enough for the boys in first grade that year in the Gryffindor house, but where. Where does the other boys sleep, well in the book there are two possible solutions magic or more staircases. But in the film there is just a door and then a room to sleep in, what the heck? I know I asked my self the same question.

Bellatrix
There seems to be a mistake in the last and final book, I am not completely sure of this one though! Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to break into Gringotts, and so Hermione becomes Bellatrix with the help of polyjuice potion, but where does she get the hair needed to do so. One explenation is that it is mentioned in the DH, but I have just forgotten it: strings of hair were left on Hermione's clothes when she is tortured by Bellatrix.

Coffee: Water to use when brewing

Most coffee knowers will probably be astonished when I say the following. I use tap water for brewing coffee. Want to know why? Well, you see I live in Norway near the coast line, in the north, mountains all around. And that is where the water comes from, the mountains, delicious water I can tell you. One should bottle it and sell it at Ebay, "Norwegian water from Berlevåg"...."USE ONLY FOR CONSUMING, OR MAKING COFFEE OR TEA!". Belive me there is no shame in using this water, clear as crystal, sweet and cleansing, oh! Heavenly is thy Norwegian water! by Merah

A Brand New Coffee Cup & Four New Books!

It is a beautiful spring day, with clouded skies and the bright light from the sun being crushed between them, yes certainetly this is not the ideal spring day, but it shines, in it's own special way. For today I got four books, ordered a couple of weeks ago from Barnes & Noble, the reason it took some time you can read about on the page about me, or as it is called "Leif B. Hammer".

When I tell you wich books it was you will laugh, are you ready? Percy Jackson and the Olympians book 1-3 and The Los Hero, or Last Hero maybe? By Rick Riordan. Yeah! I know make fun of me! Those are childrens books, but they are actually quite intriguing, and I like them. I really know, it is weird, but it's fantasy, wery childish though for a guy who's read The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings (actuallt currently in the middle of "The Return of The King"), Harry Potter and so on. But still, those books are fun, mixing the modern world with Greek mythology. Genious! Kind of!

Now for the new coffee cup, I bought it yeasterday actually, a beautiful cup I've found myself staring at for days now at our town's local electric, clothes and random stuff store, "Reidar Svendsen AS". They are famous in my town for selling things fairly expensive, say you are looking for a kitchen machine that usually costs 100 dollars, but they would sell it for 200 dollars, get it now? But again it's a small town, they got to make some money of the buisness, cause it is not exactly lucrative...
Here is a picture of the cup:
